You can't do much better than this kit. It probably isn't the best for a novice, given the complexity of some of the assemblies. But the directions are so clear that it might be okay for that level. At first I wasn't sure about all the clear parts: roof, hood, engine bay. After I got to that point in the build and put them on without gluing, I thought it is a very cool look. We've all built kits and worked hard on an engine only to have it hidden. The rest of the build was a pleasure. The usual Tamiya excellence.

This might be the first kit from Tamiya that I didn’t give 5 stars. The reason being that the kit doesn’t come with masking stickers for the windshield. And their is a lot of black outlining to do on it.
I also didn’t like that you only got one hood (clear glass) to choose from. It does come with a motor and the parts are still normal Tamiya quality but not their best.
Good kit fun build
Clean kit no flash or twisting. Good detail interior and engine. Comes with clear hood if you want to show the twin turbo's. Some of the directions hard to figure out paint and location. Still a good build when done. Have fun.
Excellent kit
A very nice kit of an iconic sports car. Nice detail throughout. Full engine and interior visible through the sunroof and a clear hood to show off the the turbo V6.
Awesome!

First Tamiya kit I’ve ever built and I will definitely be purchasing more. Easy to build and awesome detail. I like the clear glass style hood.
Very nice kit, especially for the cost.
Tamiya has become my favorite for kits and spray paints. This kit is beautifully rendered, has great fitment, and very nice detail.
