German 8Ton 1/2 Track Weapons Carrier

For the price, this is an average model. The gun assembly came together well. Some of the fit of the vehicle itself was a bit problematic and needed some filing and filling. I assembled mine with the drop sides up. To accomplish this I needed to cut the sides a bit and cut the loader seats off the gun. The figures included were not great. A couple of them were molded decently but some were not really usable. The heads and helmets were especially poorly molded. I chose not to use any for now. The rubber tracks were cheap-looking and not detailed but with some dirt and weathering will be OK. For someone who likes to put a detailed model together in an afternoon, this may not be for you. This model is typical of old Lindberg castings. Most need some work to look decent. This one is part of the needs work to look decent group.
