I'm happy to see that Tamiya re released this particular model as it's history was way back in my days with Tamiya kits. The construction is fairly easy if you pay close attention to the instructions. The kit was available around sixteen years ago so I ordered one. The parts are well molder so there are no fit issues and as with all Tamiya kits the instructions include a history of each vehicle, which is very helpful and the placement of the vehicles in the German army. I built a diorama around German troops on maneuvers. I highly recommended this kit to anyone who builds German vehicles.

The kit is probably not for beginners or even some experienced modelers. I am 60 y/o, and the parts were kind of tiny to deal with. But the up side is that you get a really beautiful model once built, and the new, excellent figures just add to the interest. However, you have to have a tremendous amount of patience with the individual track links, each consisting of two parts (the link and the rubber foot). I’m not good with math, but the entire suspension and tracks consist of well over 200 parts alone! TIP – use the illustration in the instructions as a go-by. The drawing is exact to the actual parts, and if you use them to line up the link and length tracks, you will do great. My only beef was the delicacy of the front fork. The parts were extremely delicate, placement was guess work, and the dang front wheel would barely reach the ground. The figures, all new tooled, were excellent and feature a driver of the supply branch taking a break, while two soldiers return from medical attention to find their unit, somewhere near in the vast expanse of Russia.
