"Paint covers well but..."

Color wasn't what I had hoped for from pictures, finished product looks more like a variation of purple than a deep red. If looking for a color to represent the deep red found in some interiors this is not the one I would recommend (I did however us it as a base to mix the color I was looking for)

"This Maroon Is More of a Scarlet"

Well. The title about says it all.Have not painted anything with it yet. I supposed if you painted over a dark grey primer it might look more like maroon. It sure looks like they used some rich, high quality pigments in this. These colors are from the Postwar modeling boom by the way.

"Quite purple, but ok"

This maroon enamel looks a little more purple or dark magenta than I expected. It leans more toward purple than burgundy. Less like a good Pinot Noir and more like a Petit Sirah, or maybe the jelly you get from prickly pear fruit.

Comments

  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Highly Flammable Paint.
