I'm 65 yrs old and just getting back into scale modeling. I've been useing a local chain store pin vise and they last about 2 months and break at the threads. A sign of low quality material. When I saw this one I had to try it. This is great for my stiff hands. So easy to grip and easy for me to use and made of good quality material. I recommend this pin vise, I am very happy with it.
