This was my first Zvezda kit, and I'm very happy I purchased and built it. The detail was great, with over 450 parts. The quality of the parts was very good, with no flash and very minimal seam and ejector pin marks. Many of the parts, however, were very delicate and tricky to remove and assemble, so I would not really recommend this kit to a new builder. If you like a challenging kit with many parts, then I would say take a shot at this one. The kit comes with about a dozen clear parts for the many optics on this tank. Two internal instrument panels can be seen if the turret hatches are left open, although there is no other internal detail. Treads are assembled from 6 or seven pieces (for each side) and went together with minimal fuss. My only complaint is the decals. They were very troublesome and did not respond well to decal setting solution. Luckily, the tank version I chose to model only had a handful of decals that I needed to worry about. Overall, a very nice tank kit that I would highly recommend.

This is a great kit for the price. This was my first Zvezda kit, and I'm glad I chose this one. It is much cheaper than the Meng T-90 but has just as much detail. There are lots of small fragile pieces that can break while taking off the sprue so great care is needed. There isn't much clean up needed for the parts, and the fit is very good. The tracks are made up of multiple pieces but are simple to put together. The instructions are pretty simple to follow, and the kit tends to go together pretty fast. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone.
