True Metal Wax Dark Aluminum 20ml Tube

This color really works well with the AK True Metal Wax Aluminum, it is darker as the name says. You can use it to offset the panels on bare metal aircraft, and it really looks nice. These are top of the line paints. Excellent for all those bare metal finished model airplane kits. They brush on smooth, you wait 20 minutes and you can buff with a cloth or tissue or q-tip. AK suggests that you prime in black, I have tried this and it works well. I do have one tip to pass on. Once you have the applied paint buffed up to the finish you desire, give the project a coat of clear before you do any thing else. Because these paints buff up, handling them with out a clear coat can buff them right off the project. Also note, a little goes a long way. So you really get value for your money with this line of paints.

This shade is between Aluminum and Gunmetal shades. The paint can be brush painted, and the finish is overall high quailty.
