Excellent Estes Quality

Many are moving to the elastic shock cords. They are great for the big rockets but for A thru F engine rockets the Estes rubber shock cords are great. If you are designing your own rockets or updating an older rocket where the shock cord has gotten brittle from the heat of the attic, this is a great way to go.

YOU NEVER CAN HAVE ENOUGH SHOCK CORDS TO ATTACH YOUR BODY TUBE TO THE NOSE CONE. IT WORKS WELL WHEN THE NOSE CONE BLOWS OFF AND PULLS YOUR RECOVERY SYSTEM OUT WHETHER IT BE A STREAMER OR PARACHUTE. SHOCK CORDS WEAR OUT OR SOMETIMES GET BURNED WHEN THE ENGINE DISCHARGES AND YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH PROTECTIVE WADDING IN YOUR ROCKET. THIS SHOCK CORD IS BEST FOR ROCKETS THAT USE SIZE A-D ENGINES
