Scania T143H 6x2

I have built several Italeri truck models prior to this one and have been impressed with the level of detail, design and fit. This one, however, was horrible. CONS: 1. The instructions tell you to cut 12mm out of the MAIN FRAME RAILS but there is no explanation why you should do this. Since there was no explanation, I passed on doing this. It was only apparent when I went to fit the side aero panels that I realized why they told you to remove 12mm from the rails...they were not long enough to reach the connection points. 2. The exhaust system had to be cut / modified in 4 different places in order for the cab to fit in the right location. This was not an error on my part as the exhaust system has several very specific mounting points. 3. The side aero panels, per the instructions, are to have the front step covers cut off. Its obvious that Italeri cheaped out and designed these covers for 2 different models. PROS: Can't think of any. Very disappointed that Italeri wants me to pay $75 for a model that contains parts that must be radically modified just to assemble the kit.
