Perhaps for scale 72 this is the most decent and high-quality kit for assembling a model. In this updated set, the decals are much better done and they have a decal for the instrument panel. The only drawback is the small number of weapons and the lack of diversity in it.So for lovers of scale 72, I definitely recommend it, but you have to buy weapons.

Having built both this and the Academy version, I can say that this one is much nicer out of the box (and what you get in the box too). The kit fits well, only a bit of minor work fitting the engines to the fuselage but this is modeling, right? The kit offers the options to build either the A or C version. I have built an A straight out of the box, and have another for a C with some PE for the cockpit. The kit offers a nice variety of weapons and paint/decal options as well. It will need a good amount of nose weight to be planted on its wheels - which I solved my adding BB's to some used up, worn out poster tac inside the nose. IF you are looking for a 1/72 scale A-10 that offers a ton of options, pic this one up.
