Lost in Space Chariot

Whew wee. This looks to be a tough kit. But i like it. Rubber tires and rubber treads. The canopy will probably be the major pain as far as painting goes. But should be easy enough to mask off. There are aftermarket decals and photoetched parts for this kit, oh also a lighting kit. May have to get them i want this one to be one of my best builds. The tracks snap together but i think a dab of some type of cement might help. The box is crammed full of parts. Instructions are as good as they get. I did see a tiny bit of flash. But this is a moebius kit so you know it is good all over. Caught it on sale my favorite type of kit. Plus my bonus points saved a bit. This chariot was my favorite part of lost in space. Anyone to young to remember or have not seen lost in space check out a few episodes, and you just may want to build this one too. Ecspecially if you want a change from tanks and planes or cars and trucks this could be the ticket. Even comes with the robot.

I have built this kit many times - The hardest part is all the masking for the upper structure - with all the clear parts. With that being said the parts fit was excellent with little to no flash and clean up was a snap. The instructions were a little confusing but reading them several times and they will make sense. The only damage I had was one of the tracks was a little miss-formed but I put that part of the track to the inside and it looks great. I would recommend this to modelers that don't mind the taping and taking time to get it right.

Very nice kit but not for beginners. Great addtion to the space pod kit and the Jupiter 2 kit.
