The Noch 14683 Mulled-Wine Stall, along with the 4 Noch 14862 Christmas Market Stalls, were going to be a Christmas Market. Regrettably, will have to make a change.
On the Plus side… No painting is required and looks decent when complete. That’s where it ends.
Negatives, these use cardboard stock so extreme caution when applying an adhesive. In order to cleanly separate the building elements, a thin sharp knife is required and cutting angle needs to be done very carefully. A little too much glue and the cardboard begins to bend and/or delaminate. Also, no door detail is included. This is the case for the 14862 N Scale Christmas Market Stall as well. Both the Noch Wine Stall, and the Noch Christmas Market Stall, when placed near other manufacturer’s (Woodland Scenics, Atlas and Osborne) structures appear to be smaller and out of proportion. There are not many building options for a Christmas Market so I’m either totally replacing or significantly reducing the market because I definitely won’t be buying anymore of these. Fortunately only bought one of each. The only other question; To use in a hidden area, raise both on a platform or discard. Ah, that is the question.
