I bought this kit to enter in the Boulder Model Railroad Club's modeling contest. Modeled after the original grocery/gas/post office in Saw Pit Colorado, it is a true representation of early 20th century rural commerce. The directions did not show step by step pictures. Each step referred to drawings of the completed structure. This led to problems; however, J & L Innovation was easy to contact by phone and very helpful. The pieces fit well. There was some alteration required. It gets five stars because I took first place.

Good detail but instructions need help. Finished product is excellent but added ext/int lighting as well as partially open doors.
