This is a re-release of the Revell/Monogram F-15E Strike Eagle, only this one by Revell-Germany offers something that the prior F-15E kits lacked, weapons. It offers Laser guided bombs and regular iorn unguided bombs. It is still IMO the finest 1/48 scale F-15 E on the market. It offers very nice recessed panel lines and nice rivet details. Cockpit details are good,with nice seats, but they do lack harness detail. You can purchase the Eduard photo-etch cockpit detail set,this will add much to an already well detailed cockpit. I also got a set of Legend aftermarket resin F-15E seats. Landing gear is well detailed. The exhaust nozzels are excellent,though a bit tedious to build. If one chooses there are aftermarket resin nozzels available. The decal sheet is excellent and offer markings for 2 aircraft, one from Seymore Johnson AFB in N.C. and one from Moutian Home AFB. This is an excellent kit and I would recommend it for intermidate to experienced modelers.
