"nice older kit, the detail is not up to today's standards"

This is a nice older kit, but the sharpness of detail is not up to today's standards. I have built several of these kits. I like them and the variations you can build. I recommend you pay a lot of attention to sanding and trimming the parts; it will pay off in bringing out the detail. At this reduced price it is also a very good kit to get to use for spare parts on other builds!
