"Great looking plain that has few changeling parts"

The Galdiator was a good build and the result was a great looking plain. The instructions were easy to understand and the paint sceam was excellent. There were a few problems that were easy to take care of. Placing the engine in the plane was difficult because the sides of the plane,did not have guide pins the keep the half lined up. The second difficult think was placing the top wing in place at the right height. I finally ended up making two wooden spacers to keep the wing at the right wile the glue set. the rest of the assembly was straight forward. the result is a great looking WW2 airplane .Great build with just a enough difficulty to make it changeling but fun.

"The Defenders of Malta: Faith, Hope and Charity"

I have always admired stories of extraordinary heroism and the Sea Gladiator, its pilots and the citizens of Malta were part of the best known story of courage in the face of an implacable foe. The story of three obsolete biplanes fighting a lonely, seemingly hopeless battle against the Nazis started with a British magazine reporter who gave them their unofficial names of Faith, Hope and Charity. The box art is of one of the famous trio in its element. The kit is well molded with minimal flash and the surface detail is very good. I had no problem with assembly until it came time to put the upper wing on. I made a fixture of popsicle sticks to hold the wing and main struts in position until the glue set I then added the cabane struts and rigging. I don't recommend this kit for beginners because of the struts and rigging but it is a very good replica of a between wars aircraft that fought in a conflict it was not designed to fight.
