This type of light tank was the mainstay of the German military at the start of WWII. They were fast and helped greatly in early advances of the German army. This kit is very small. I mean, surprisingly small! The detailing is quite nice - but I am glad it's being sold at a reduced price on Hobbylinc. Full price is too much for something so tiny!

I built this for a group build on a forum website. Great fitting kit with lots of detail. Easy build for the most part, but the tracks were tricky. Very small track links, but they look great together. Nicely detailed figure, but I replaced his head. Not a lot of interior detail, but you can't see it with the figure in the hatch. Another Tamiya kit that has not fit problems and builds up quickly.

This one unfortunately, isn't it. Tamiya needs to stay out of photo etch on their models. I have put on a lot of photo etch parts in my day but that screen over the muffler on the back of this one was ridiculous on how it attached to the vehicle. Another negative I would like to point out is the tracks. The tracks are easy to put on...They just look very unrealistic in my opinion. Also, very difficult to paint. I just don't see the purpose of this type of tracks. Too much of the engineering on this model seemed so half-baked as I was building it. Definately, not up to Tamiya standards.
