US Medium Tank M4A3E8 Sherman Easy Eight

There are plenty of Sherman's from Tamiya but this 'Easy Eight' finally has tracks I don't have to melt and they firmly fix together with cement/glue. Also the additional Russian/Chinese Field Car is a nice touch (plus Russian machine gun). As others state, fairly simply and drilling of holes may or may not be required so check every step before you do it. Still, as easy as it was to put together it is tempting me to expand into creating unique kits far away from the stock out of the box versions. One more plus is Tamiya molding main color pretty close so next is experimenting straight to aging techniques without painting.

I have built quite a few Tamiya kits but this one is by far was the most impressive and enjoyable one I built. The level of detail is incredible as well as the accuracy and fit. The devil motif was what made the kit stand out for and the decals provided are easy to apply. Though this kit doesn’t have any photo etch or metal cables and other goodies we have been accustomed to seeing with other manufactures it honestly doesn’t need it. There was only about 300 pieces in total to put the model together and it easily be assembled over a weekend. The added bonus of the GAZ67B is a nice touch but honestly they should have given it a facelift, I don’t see many people finding value in it because of how old and crude it is.
