This paint is very thin. It will take 2 or more coats for what you are painting.

"UASF Jets"

Probably the best USAF color for 1960 - 1970 jet aircraft. Found Testors Acrylic Paints to work best thinned with alcohol. And, airbrushed over a light gray primer.

"good paint is a very close match to Air Defence Grey."
rarem37
I just sprayed some of this paint to test it before I use it on a model. It is a very close match to the air Defence Grey I was looking for. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that you must use a primer under it, otherwise it really takes a lot of coats of paint to stick and cover. It doesn't stick to bare plastic very well. I mixed mine with just 10% water and a drop of Windex. The Windex helps break up the surface tension and lets the paint flow better. I sprayed it thru an Aztec airbrush with the acrylic tip installed. You may want to thin it a bit more to get it to flow thru another type of airbrush. I'm glad I got 3 bottles, I am looking forward to using it to paint the F-102s I just got.

Good product for your acrylic finishing needs. Spray or paint this on after an undercoat of grey primer.
