Great for a beginner on model railroading. They are easy to cut and easy to mount in place. Not to good for some of the atlas layout plans but they recommend them to be used. I used them on two 9 inch Plate Girder Bridge when I first built my layout, didn't like the look it gave it so I switched them out.
