1/144 Scale Revell-Germany #RVL04070. Prototype Information: Northrop B-2 "Spirit" Bomber Description: The B-2 Spirit is the latest aircraft to enter service with the USAF and replaces the B-52 and B-1B in the strategic bomber role. The B-2 is unique in several respects: it is a flying wing with no fuselage or tail surfaces, and it has a very low radar cross-section making it very difficult to detect. The B-2 has a wingspan of 172ft and can fly at altitudes of over 50,000ft on its four GE F-118-GE 100 powerplants.
1/180 Scale Lindberg #LND413. Designed by North American Aviation in the late 1950s, the B70 Bomber was a large six-engined aircraft able to fly Mach 3+ at an altitude of 70,000 feet (21,000 m), which would have allowed it to avoid interceptors, the only effective anti-bomber weapon at the time.
