This 1/87 scale Victorian brougham was fun to assemble, but I wouldn't recommend it for beginners. A good pair of tweezers and a magnifier are very helpful for handling and placing the delicate parts. It is well detailed in styrene, with clear window inserts and carriage lamps molded in clear plastic. Replacing the included axles with brass rod makes a much sturdier vehicle. The instructions are reasonably easy to follow, though I would suggest test fitting everything before gluing! The Jordan horse-drawn vehicles seem to be very slightly undersized; I could not fit two HO scale Preiser figures in this as passengers, when in 'real life' they should have been comfortably accommodated.
