This kit is difficult to assemble.Super Glue should not be used it's to runny. The chickens that come with the kit are so small they're difficult to glue onto the chicken coop.

"White metal unpainted kit"

Makes a nice addition to a farm scene. Requires small detail painting especially inside of the coup where details of the Chickens and roosts are provided. You will have to leave the roof loose to see the inside details. I added some window glass where appropriate. Includes chickens/roosters which can be placed outside the coop.

excellent addition for a country setting. In the old days, everybody kept chickens

"LOTS Of Detail Painting!"

The clean-up of this metal kit is pretty simple. The castings are pretty clean and free from flash. It didn't take much filing to make it all look good. You will be spending time doing the detail painting. Start with a good gray primer so you can see all the details to paint. The chickens and roosters are SMALL so use a magnifying glass! Mine turned out well and will be a nice addition to my grandkids' Christmas Train Layout!

Comments

Castings are somewhat brittle and require careful handling.
