Review Summary

The reviews highlight the precision and quality of the #11 blade, noting its effectiveness for detailed work like model building and trimming specific materials. Users appreciate its thin, sharp design for accessing tight spaces and cutting with accuracy. While the bulk packs are seen as convenient for frequent users, some find them expensive and suggest smaller packs unless blades are often broken.

The perfect precision tool

By: e.coxe

The X-acto #11 blade is the perfect presision tool for numerous jobs, but especially for model building. Detail work is a lot easier with this surgical blade. It is so perfect for trimming Bare Metal Foil that the foil's instruction sheet specifies the #11 blade be used.

Bulk Blades

By: JesusFreak

X-Acto blades are of great quality. The #11 is of no exception. It is a thin extremely sharp blade that is small enough to be capable of fitting into very small spaces. One can even cut straight down into models when one could not otherwise slice sideways. This set comes with 100 blades, which would be a great deal if they were not so expensive. These blades last for a long time, so I would just stick with buying a smaller pack. However, if one is constantly breaking his blades, this would save quite a few trips to the store.

Xacto #11 Blade Bulk

By: mooniemac2000

A bulk of #11 blades. For me X-Acto has been one of the more trustworthy brands, since it's more renowned than the other brands.
