82 Bobby Allison Flat Nose Gatorade Monte Carlo

First off beware this is mislabeled on this site as a 1/24 kit when it is actually a less desirable 1/25 Salvinos kit. Keep in mind this kit is a much less pleasurable experience to build due to poor overall engineering and design and quite possibly the worst directions ever included with any model kit. One of the few positives is that it includes great quality tires and Power Slide decals, other than those two mentions there is absolutely nothing to write home about. In ending I'd strongly suggest sticking to the Salvinos 1/24 scale kits that are a pleasure to build.

This is a good kit. same as the old monogram kit from the 80s but with at new nose. The decals are over the top. These built into very nice models.

Good and bad with this kit. Good Powerslide decals. Really good chrome. Really nice wheels and tires (2 wheel options). Options for different year Monte Carlos. Bad instructions. Bad, flimsy roll cage. Some very thin parts, my front stabilizer bar was broken, the front wheels flop around like the Cookie Monster’s eyes. Lots of poor fits.
