"Builds up nice"

Kit goes together well, comes with extra custom parts. The only dowsides are the custom parts are definitely dated and the kit is molded in red plastic

"Cubside kit"

I have to say I was disappointed in this kit, this is basically a curbside kit with a motor, even the headlights are molded in as well as the seats, the tail lights and backup lights should have been molded as one piece but instead the tailights were molded seperate and the white backup lights were molded into the bed which makes no sense. This is a very old mold with alot of flash.

This is a pretty good kit, especially compared to other AMT pickup kits I’ve had. The cab and the bed line up very nicely. I had so many ideas of what colors I wanted to use. I didn’t go with the coke livery. I did it with red being my primary color and silver inlays on the side panels. The only thing I thought it was lacking was better detail on the interior bucket. Other than that, nice job. Two thumbs up.

"Goes together easily."

I'll start off by saying, this is an easy kit that goes together cleanly. The cab and bed fit nicely. This is a reissue of and old kit, so the detail is a little lacking compared to new kits, but still a nice kit. Good for beginners. Detail of the body and interior are good, but the underside and engine compartment are lacking. Not a fan of the suspension and exhaust being molded into the chassis, but I guess that's how they did it back in the day. The extras for the soda machine was a nice touch. I built this as a tribute to my late grandfather, so I didn't decal it up like the box art. Although, the decals look to be very well done.
