"Have patience with this one."
iacon6
You'll need a lot of patience with this kit. There are parts that won't fit at first, so take your time and get them to fit. Some of the parts are very thin so be careful not to break them. I turned the model kit to a 1921 Model T. Make sure to read the instructions very carefully and do a lot of dry fitting before using cement or CA glue.

"Fun, straightforward build – delicate pieces, delicate model"

This is a Round 2 reissue, and they did a great job with this one. This could be built as a cop car version with helmets, shotgun, sirens, etc or a civilian touring version of a 1927 Model T, the last year of the Model T. The model has the original 177 ci four banger or the Fronty racing special – that was actually designed by the Chevrolet Brothers. All kind of police goodies as mentioned, including the decal for badging a proper police car. Top and hood can be removed to reveal engine and interior. The interior is Spartan, which is exactly like the real vehicle. There are optional side curtains. While the fenders and frame are one piece, as well as a one-piece body, all other parts are pretty delicate and would break under stress or too much pressure. I did have to remove and scratch-build the front bumper mount arms because one was not fully molded. Further, had to scratch the headlight mounts because the original part was broken. Plus, I had to tease and carve a lot of parts to ensure a good fit – like cutting down the drive shaft and cutting the windscreen into two pieces. I would suggest that you glue to the dashboard to the body and not the interior tub. Requires a delicate touch and lots of test fitting and patience, but the modeler will be rewarded with an absolutely gorgeous model! Recommended.

"Easy but delicate"

Overall an easy build, but be careful with the small parts. I wound up spending a fair amount of the build time waiting for paint to dry... One hint - you might consider putting the inner wheels on the metal axles BEFORE finishing the wheel/tire assemblies. The spokes are FRAGILE, and the inner wheels require a fair bit of force to get them in the metal axles. Speaking of metal axles - check the length BEFORE mounting everything - one was almost a full half inch too long and had to be cut down. The period police parts are cool, if you want to go that route. There's a chrome flashlight, a cut-off double barrel coach gun, a baton, a couple of police hats, and body and engine parts for a police car.

"What a fun build"

This model has some delicate parts to it and you have to have some patience when building it, but in the long run it is a very rewarding model when it's finished. I opted to make my '27 Ford a non-police model. What a fun build it was.
