The kit is a shortened Beetle body (shorter behind the doors) on a dune buggy. There is a lot of flexibility in how the kit can be built (4 ways). A wide variety of parts is included. 2 types of exhaust pipes. 2 colors of windows (clear and green tint). 4 pairs of tires: 2 standard, 2 redline, 2 racing slicks, 2 dune tires (made of plastic). 2 sets of wheels: deep dish and 5-spoke. Almost all the engine parts are chrome, so stripping may be needed for realistic coloring. The belt and pulleys are made as a solid part, so modification is needed for a realistic appearance. Be cautious since some of the engine parts are small or can be easily damaged. For the 4 exhaust configuration, the 2 middle pipes need to be lower than the 2 outboard pipes to clear the lower pulley. Several parts are for the Streetle Beetle kit and are not shown in the instructions. However, I decided to use the front bumpers as an addition.
