This was the only available MK IV Female in polystyrene for 25 years (kit was first introduced in 1990) The parts count is what one expect from a kit of that age. The armament is very basic with no detail. No major issues with fit, HOWEVER, test fit everything first and use a lot of tape to hod the parts together to unsure alignment as the kit has no alignment tabs or pin mark and the instructions are quite vague on assembly. Overall, fit is decent with most of the seam lines being unnoticeable once the kit is complete. Decals lay smooth and didnt not crack on my example. Microscale Decal Solvent did not eat the bottom layer of film, thus you will have to trim carefully if using the kit decals. The tracks are made up into multiple sections of a glue-able vinyl. I tested fitted the tracks and played around with the left over sections to see what glue would work best and I ended up going with Model Master Liquid Cement for Plastic Models (black container with spout) and a lot of pressure. Overall, it a cheaper alternative to the recently released Tamiya kit but with skill, this kit can turn out just as well.
