The miter box definitely helps younger students use this saw properly, but the blade is still flimsy and can bend easily if not careful.

Great little saw and miter box. If there is one negative, the miter box is made of plastic and it is easy to cut into the side of the box if you are not very careful and line up the cut

Cheap junk! The saw cuts right through the plastic miter box. If you are not PERFECTLY straight the saw will cut the grooves wider. Anything over 1/4 thick will stick up past the walls. The saw gets stuck as you are trying to cut, should have made the kerf a little wider. I guess you get what you pay for, I should have known better. Mine went in the garbage after first use!
