A bit pricey for what you get but worthwhile I feel there are too many parts here. On this scale I think it adds extra work for negligible result. In fact there are so many tiny parts here that if you drop one you'll never find it again, not for the beginner at all.

Yes ACE kits consist of a billion small parts. But having built two of these, The end result was good. I had to clean up parts, and recommend dry fit. Just follow each step and you'll get through it. I built one firing and the other in towed position. Considering how rare the kit is (who else makes 152mm ML20?) the end result was worth while. I painted dark green, to hide any imperfections and dry brushed. I agree with other reviews, not for a beginner. I left a few parts off. If you want a unique field gun, just stick to instructions one step at a time. clean up (remove any flash) the parts before gluing.
