Soviet Metis Anti-Tank Launcher w/Crew

Another great product from Zvezda. One of the best things about this set is the subject. I can not find any other set with Soviet/Russian AT weapons other than the RPG. Some assembly is required and the pieces are quite thin. While this makes the figures a little more difficult to prepare initially, the end product is well worth it. The separate pieces allow for the molds to be far more detailed without the excess plastic found in between weapons and body parts. There are a total of three figures, one prone with the Launcher, one prone with a rifle and one kneeling at the ready with rifle and reloads. On the down side, unlike most Zvezda products each figure is not provided with its own base. This set is intended primarily as a game piece for Zvezda's Hot War series and as such comes with only one base for the three figures. To use them as a model requires the removal of the mounting pegs (easily done) and devising some way of propping up the kneeling figure. Overall a well done and very unique set.
