"The best NMF Out There"

If you're painting a model that requires a natural metal finish, Alclad II is most likely your best option. Not only is the finish great, but there are so many different shades available, including this one (aluminum). So what's the catch? Well, if you're used to using acrylics, this is a lacquer, so you'll have to change how you clean your airbrush and layer your coats. Then there's the fact that any blemish will show up after you're done using Alclad. So your sanding and prep work must be flawless to get the desired results.

Alclad paints are excellent products. I've been using them for years and no other metallic paints. Great coverage. Recommend this product to everyone who wants that realistic metal finish

Tried this paint worked OK but Testors is much better. Testors non buff covered much better and uses much less paint to cover same area.

Excellent product with a strong durable finish. Proper prep is the key. smooth surface, black lacquer base and viola! scale metal look! I prefer to use Krylon Specialty lacquer instead of Alclads. Doesn't always dry properly and the metal finish won't cure right if tacky.
