"Great “first model kit”"

My daughter is 7 years old and built this kit in about half an hour with no help from me at all. It’s pretty impressive looking, even though not a single drop of paint or glue was needed. I was very impressed with the build quality and use of different color plastics on the same sprue. I consider it and the other Pokémon quick kits the perfect entry point into model building. They snap together great, easy to follow instructions and the build time is short enough that a very young kid won’t lose interest before finishing.
