"Nice overall kit!"
barnes0425
This is a very nice kit overall. The parts fit well with little filing and sanding. The parts are nicely detailed with great payload options. The one down side is the three part canopy. Looks nice and gives a clear view of cockpit details but is a bit hard to line up all 3 pieces. This takes a little time to figure out the best way for you so experiment before you use glue. In the end you have a very acceptable model of an OV-10 to enjoy!

Great kit, goes together nicely. More decal options would be nice. Good detail.

"Nice small scale model"

Nice kit of the OV-10. Good fit overall, canopy takes some fiddling. I ended up making thin decal stripes for the canopy frames, since I've not had good luck recently with masking methods and I'm not steady enough to hand-paint them. A good addition to any Vietnam collection.

Information

The OV-10A Bronco was designed principally as a counter-insurgency aircraft which gives it the ability to perform high precision attacks on ground targets The aircraft also has a cargo compartment which can carry 5 paratroopers, or two stretchers and a medic. More recent versions of the aircraft have also been used in the forward air controller (FAC) directing other aircraft. A primary design feqture of the OV-10 is its twin boom layout and the aircraft is powered by a pair of Garret T76-G-10 turboprops. The OV-10 saw considerable service in Vietnam and is used by the US Air Force and Marine Corps.
