This white version of the Mack is the best color to paint. The other color cabs will bleed the original cab color thru your paint unless you apply several thin coats of primer and allow plenty of drying time. I prime the white with just a thin coat of primer and paint it within hours. No problems. The chrome mirrors, steps and air horns are a bit fiddly to glue on, but if you trim a little off of the pins, they will insert into the mounting holes with no problem. I use super glue just to get them to adhere fast and not get lost during drying.
