"Great acrylic paint"

Paint to Thinner range 2:1 to 1:1 for airbrushing depending on air pressure, paint volume and distance from subject. Experiment on scrap plastic first.

"great paint for afv weathering"

Love tamiya paint. easy to mix. easy out of the airbrush. Like buff as a dusting color for undercarriage and lower hull predusting on model tanks.

"More browns to the pallet"

I got back into modeling recently and began building my toolkit. The Tamiya paints were part of that first paint kit, primarily for WW2 German and US infantry, tanks, vehicles and planes. This paint brushes on well and I mix it 1:1 with thinner when airbrushing.

"Good for wooden ship decks"

I finally found a tan color that I like for wooden decks of battleships. The Tamiya XF series paints are all great. They dry very fast, though, so you might need thinner or the retarder for brushing larger areas.
