Motorcycle Parts Pack, Double Dirt Bike

I have built 2 of these kits. Detail is good but there is some flash issues on a couple of parts but they clean up nice. I used mine in a Diorama with a 53 ford pickup. I scratched built a 4 place trailer for the bikes. I would recommend this kit to all builders.

The kits themselves are nothing special but they are very cool to diorama building. Other then one maybe two other kit makers there are no motorcycles in 1/25th scale I can find. I own several of this kit, The price is right. You get 2 dirt bikes that can be built in 10 min - but if you want a detail challenge then this kit is fun for that, I added wires and linkage. I painted one Testor's Lime green and the other one Lemon yellow. A quick wash and watch the detail pop. I plan on building this kit again as an Apocalypse Military Long Range Scouts diorama But the green and yellow ones are going on my Hemi Hydro diorama that all most done, I would recommend this kit to all builders and its even great for the first time builder.

Pros: It's hard to find a motorcycle kit in 1/25 scale, and this inexpensive kit gives you 2 complete dirt bikes. Each bike has only 13 parts, but the parts have a decent level of detail. Cons: The parts require a considerable amount of work to get them to fit together properly, and the way the parts go together makes it impossible to build and paint the frame as a sub-assembly. If you're patient, though, and willing to invest the time and effort necessary to properly fit the parts, you'll end up with a pair of decent-looking dirt bikes which can be displayed resting on the kickstand, or mounted to your favorite 1/25 scale car or truck with the included carrier brackets.
