The ad has just been reworded to say DCC Ready in the title which said Alco S2 DCC Nickel Plate Road #38 --HO Scale Model Train Diesel Locomotive --#63308 until this morning. The ad copy also said DCC-equipped for speed, direction and lighting up to 2 hours ago. This locomotive is just DCC-ready as the ad now states. It runs well and arrived in good condition. Customer service told me in an email that it has a speaker so if a decoder is installed it should have sound. I have not determined if this is accurate or not.
