"Too Heavy"
Leo Bazinet (Orlando,FL)
Hello, bought 7 of these Hoppers, they are way too heavy.Big time problem going up slight inclines. Engine wheels slipping. With 2 engines no problem at all. A little overkill with only 7 cars being pulled. Weights are not easy to remove. Leo

Great looking car. Got some weight to it (Mantua Super heavyweight). Only drawback is it has plastic wheels.

"Coal trains"

These cars were pretty good, they ran well, and they looked cool. What I like the most is that they are cheap and are still good. When I ran them it was okay I mean 1 or 2 got of track but thats okay. I used them on coal trains. Mostly my UP GP40 that I bought on hobbylinc runs them the most. 1 downside; they are too heavy for ho trains. they go offtrack. Other than that it is probably one of the best coal cars I have every bought. I got 9. I wish I would have known that they were heavy.
