Diesel Sand Tower Water & Fuel Column

The diesel column set matched railroad pictures and drawings, but the nibs for hose connections were too short. I used insulation from 20-gauge wire, instead of the included plastic hoses. The pewter metal did not require painting, and I used aluminum paint on the florist wire between the stand and upper piping. The column set lacked assembly drawings, but it was reasonably priced with adequate assembly instructions. I wished that they included a concrete platform for all three columns, but I found a plastic sheet of sidewalk that worked for the platform.
