"Great color"

This is a great color, obviously for Japanese WWII planes and ships, but it is great for an alternate Dark Green if its not the right shade you want. It has an excellent consistency, however it can (not always) have a problem with pulling up older layers of a paint altering the texture and requiring another coat, but not always. I find that this happens depending on the texture of the model surface. Great product.

"Best model paint by far"

Tamiya makes the hobby paint on the planet. Its so easy to work with. The coverage is awesome. At first, coming from Testors, I was hesitant because Testors is so thin and barely covers. Once I used it, it was a game changer. I will be switching all my paints to Tamiya.

"Great acrylic paint"

As with all Tamiya acrylics, thin between 1:1 and 2:1 paint to thinner for airbrushing. I personally thin about 65% thinner. 15-18 psi. Brush paint in one direction only and avoid over brushing until first coat is cured (not just dry to the touch)

"IJN must have"

Absolutely necessary if you’re going to do any builds concerning the Japanese navy (unless you do a ship with no floatplane. . .) This is good dark green acrylic paint. It’s in a good sized pot, and its consistency is a bit on the thick side. It thins well with water, and if you thin it to 5-6 parts paint to 1 part water it will give a very nice brushstroke free look in 3-4 coats. Definitely use a surface primer though as this can easily pull off of bare plastic with multiple brushstrokes. The color is specific to IJN planes, and looks great.
