If, like me, you are a sucker for vintage racing subjects and are willing to overlook a few flaws, you will love this kit. The NHRA fuel ban spurred an era of innovation that gave us supercharged Chrysler hemis and twin engine dragsters. This kit affords that, additional build options for the rail, and you will have some desirable parts for your spares box. My kit had a bad chrome sprue for the dragster; some of the parts had a gloppy clear viscous substance under the chrome. There is some flash to deal with and the provided front tires are not appropriate for either subject. None of this is the kiss of death so long as you have a good spares box. The decals are nicely printed, but other than the Walt’s Puffer decal, were not for me. The only other issue I had was that the hole in the Fiat hood was too small to clear the bug catcher. I used liquid cement to build the unpainted roll cage for the altered and for the dragster frame. I used E6000 to build everything else post paint. It is REALLY tacky, sticks to everything, sets up quickly, will not mess with your paint, and dries clear. The only downside is that it can be messy, so watch out for spider lines and use it sparingly.

I built this kit in the 70s. Great model then and a great model. Highly recommend this one.
