Good Clamp, could be improved
Clarification--the title can be misleading: 1)NOT a nylon spring; the spring is steel, the clamp body is nylon. 2) The 2 1/4 is the clamp length, but it only holds work up to 1 thick. Otherwise, nice little clamps, just what I needed for holding small parts together while gluing. ABS, Balsa, paperboard, etc. However, the first time I tried to use it, one of the pivoting clamp tips flew off. Luckily I found it and snapped it back on. I will be very careful next time so the tip doesn't get caught of the edge of the work. It would be nice if the tips were fastened in a more secure way. Also, those tips could be a little more tacky material so they didn't slip quite so easily.
2-1/4'' Mini clamps (qty = 5)
I really love these little clamps! I use them for everything from securing pieces while they are being glued / setting, to mini holders when I am painting / chroming small parts.
Just the right amount of gripping force for balsa!
These are absolutely perfect for balsa or any delicate material, where other clamps would just crush the wood, these grip firmly and snugly, without stressing the wood excessively.
