Yes to several other review comments. The ground figures are nicely cast and very desirable, and they were a main reason for getting this kit. And yes, the nose assembly is hopeless. You need to plan on leaving the engine out. After all, it deserves to be seen. Tonight I flanged all the nacelle parts with sheet stock and made a workable Me-109F, the variant most admired by 109 fanciers because of its late model nose and wingtips, and the absence of the big gun breech blisters on Gustav and later 109s. I'll be mounting the propeller on a fabricated shaft, set in some more sheet stock inside the nose fairing. The shape is everything it should be, and the rest of the airframe and the interior were enjoyable. This won't go down as my permanent collection Me-109F, but it looks like it'll now finish into a passable model.
