'34 Slammer Modified 2T

The box art enticed me to buy this kit. And I'm glad I bought it. It's a neat little kit. It is the perfect canvas for adding details and building it as a pristine racer or dirt track racer with lots of dings and dirt. The headers leave a little to be desired as there is a noticeable gap when assembled. I used some aluminum tubing as I cut the plastic tubing part off.The assembly was fairly simple. I had no major issues.The body can be set in place without gluing it. There was some flash which is to be expected. The wheels don't want to fit snuggly inside the tires but a little dab of gel superglue with fix that. I had fun building this kit as I added spark plug wires, an upper radiator hose and battery cables. If you are building the engine to represent a Ford engine be sure to glue the manifold with the distributor at the front of the engine. I highly recommend this kit as it is a great kits for adding details. I give this kit a 4 out of 5.
