Good kit overall but disappointed that kit didn't include pilot figures.

"Love the simplicity of this H-34"

Wonderfully simple build. had a few questionable areas like the landing struts but all in all it was well worth the cost to add to my collection. It is as I remember it in full size except the Army markings.

This kit is a good example of you get what you pay for. As a kid Revel was one of the kits I always purchased, but now it pales in comparison to some of the more expensive kits on the market. A lot of pieces that did not mold completely or in this case the fuselage had the most warp I have seen in a plastic model. But I needed it for my collection so I have worked out all the problems thus far.

"Outstanding Helicopter Model"

I don't build helicopter models very often but getting this kit for starting out again was an outstanding choice. The kit parts are a little heavy in the molding but are very well thought out for the age of the original whenever it was first released. There is little flash and that is a good sign as the ease of building this was a lot better than I expected. Some of the parts have to be coaxed into a tight fit but that is rare with the kit. The really good detailing feature I found was that the panel lines are recessed just enough to be able to use a fine tip Sharpie' pen to highlight the detailing by filling ink into the indented lines. Additional detailing is the rivets that are next to each panel line, and finally the intake grills on the nose and sides of the aircraft are easily detailed with ground pencil lead and a tiny brush to bring out the mesh design. Overall this kit is highly recommended to anyone with detailing of aircraft models.
