"Great for the Beginner"

Evergreen Scale Model's Plain Assortment is a great purchase for those just starting out in modeling. Specifically, the pack I purchased came with three 6 inch by 12 inch (6x12) sheets of white styrene, in assorted thicknesses of .010, .020, and .040. I'm just beginning in modeling, so I don't really understand what thickness means in terms of work ability. In buying my Evergreen Assortment pack, I was able to find out just how thin .010 is, and how thick .040 is. Plus, I didn't have to spend a lot of money getting different thicknesses that I may not need, want, or use to find this out; It's a time saver and introduces the modeler to a variety of sheet styrene with one purchase.
