These guys are fun. There's not a ton of non-white modern soldiers out there, so these are good for adding some diversity. I really like the dynamic, generally lifelike poses.
The faces and hands aren't great, TBH, but I don't think it's that obvious.
They're simple - no assembly required - and there's not a ton of detail for you to fuss over though that could be a pro or a con depending. They're soft, almost rubbery plastic.
Some of the soldiers came broken - the guys marching briskly with feathers in their boonie caps all came with one broken ankle which I had to glue. That, and the inelegant detail on faces and hands is the only reason I don't give them 5 stars.
Finding guidance for painting is difficult; I made up a lot of it.
Overall, they're great fun. I'm hoping to use them in some kind of Ostafrika display.
