"Fantastic Model"

The model came with several surprises: it includes a dioramic base plate, and the Pak 40's trails aren't glued, so one can choose between deployed and towing at will. The only downside is that the gun crew figures are all sitting in the halftrack. I would have liked to have them in action poses, the model is fantastic anyways.

the diorama was easy to build and looks good. the motor cycle went together well but didn't have the machine gun. The 3/4 track was a bit of a pain as it has too many pieces in the body of the model in this case 9. The suspension has a lot of wheels but that is the vehicles fault not the designers of the kit. the treads have the interlocking treads but it is best to staple the treads together as the treads can come undone. the vehicle when done is good looking. the cannon has only 1 hassle the gun mount is split in half this has to be put together and allowed enough time to stiffen or the mount will not hold the gun tight. the shield also tends to bind on the gun when it installs on the gun mount. It will eventual mount with a little force so make sure the mounts glue has set before mounting the shields.
